Activity: The Dance Formation: Lines of dancers (as for a line dance). 1 Point right foot to the side and bring back (side, together) - repeat. (4 beats) 2 Point left foot side, together - repeat. (4 beats) 3 Point right foot behind and bring back (back, together) - repeat. (4 beats) 4 Point left foot back, together - repeat.(4 beats) 5 Lift right knee across in front of body and back down - repeat. (4 beats) 6 Lift left knee across in front of body and back down - repeat. (4 beats) 7 Kick right leg, kick left leg. (4 beats) 8 Jump once, landing with feet apart, (1 beat) jump once, crossing legs, (right over left) (1 beat) jump once, turning 90° right and landing with feet apart, (1 beat) jump once bringing feet together. (1 beat) All lines are now facing a new direction (90° to the left of the starting position), ready to start again
