Troubleshooting Copying IMR to your PC Permission is given to the original purchaser to copy The Interactive Music Room, Book 1 program onto a MAXIMUM of THREE computers Instructions here. THE PROGRAM RUNS SLOWLY Are you running IMR from the CD?. If you are, copy IMR to your hard drive and run it from there. Instructions here. THE CD PLAYER DOES NOT APPEAR ON SCREEN You may not have the required version of FLASH PLAYER. Download it free here. I AM ASKED FOR A SERIAL NUMBER WHEN LOADING EASITEACH SOFTWARE The Interactive Music Room package does not require a serial number to load the Easiteach software. If you are asked for a serial number when loading it onto a computer, this will refer to your school computer system. See your school technician for advice. There is a scroll bar running down the right hand side of the screen. IMR 1 was created using Easiteach 3.4. If you are running Easiteach 3.6 you may find the lessons open up showing a scroll bar running down the right hand side of the screen. This will go away once you navigate through the lesson or move an object on the first page. There may be a few lessons that open with a scroll bar along the bottom, this however will not go away. This issue does not affect how the activities run. The sequential numbers are ‘slow’. Easiteach is best run using Windows XP or earlier systems. If you are running the Vista or Windows 7 operating systems, activities that require touching sequential numbers to reveal the next page in the story or sequential dance steps, will run slower with a lag time when touching buttons/icons. Everything was working fine this morning – but this afternoon there were wrong sounds and/or images behaving strangely (disappearing on touch, not dragging etc) Shut your computer down and restart it. This ‘rest’ should resolve the problem. If you intend to use Easiteach® all day, shut your computer down and restart it in the middle of the day. Instructional Videos There is an instructional DVD included with the package which has Cheryl demonstrating the various fuctions available for you to use - and how to use them. The videos on this DVD are also available for you to watch on-line. You can see them here. ERRATA We have been alerted to an error in the teachers book for 'The Interactive Music Room book 1'. On p 41, the BLM is incorrect - it refers to tempo and should refer to dynamics.
